Half Moon's facilities include a waterfront equipped with sail boats, row boats, canoes and speed boats as well as a sliding board, and kayaks. Tennis and basketball courts, skatepark, excellent playing fields, a theater and other indoor areas for rainy day activities are interspersed throughout the grounds. Campers along with their counselor are housed in spaciously screened cabins. Modern well maintained bathrooms and showers are conveniently located throughout the camp area for the boys and are located inside the cabins for the girls. Our laundry facilities are located on site and services are provided by our staff.


Half Moon is proud to offer a diversified program in sports, arts and enrichment areas. We wish to involve the camper in a variety of the many activities offered therefore activities are chosen by the camper on a weekly basis. All campers will be scheduled for a daily swim lesson. A free period is an opportunity for campers to participate in activities just for pleasure. The Camp's program emphasizes instruction rather than high competition. Campers are given time to practice and are encouraged to recognize all improvements as a measurement of success.
